It is made with  milk fats. With 34% of palmitic acid in the beta position, the structure provides a better profile of fatty acids, closer to that of breast milk. In breastmilk, this has certain benefits for a baby, including better fat absorption, easy digestion, softer stools and reduced constipation. Also contains our highest-ever levels of LCPs. These are important for the healthy development of a baby’s eyes, brain and nervous system.

It is the first term formulation to contain both phospholipid-bound and triglyceride-bound LCPs, again bringing the structure closer to breast milk.

Aptamil Profutura 2 Follow On Milk also contains prebiotic oligosaccharides (GOS/FOS in a 9:1 ratio). These are proven to encourage the growth and activity of friendly bacteria, reducing the risk of allergies in children up to 5 years.
