How to use:
Getting the feed ready Because powdered milks are not sterile, failing to carefully follow the preparation and feeding guidelines could result in your baby becoming unwell.
- Follow the manufacturer’s directions while washing your hands and sterilising all tools.
- 1 litre of freshly ran water should be brought to a boil before cooling for no more than 30 minutes. Never use water that has been repeatedly boiled or artificially soften.
- In a sterile bottle, pour the necessary amount of water (after consulting the feeding guide).
- Add the necessary amount of powder using the provided scoop: 1 level scoop for every fluid ounce of water (about 30ml). Utilising the scoop leveller, level off the powder. Avoid pressing the powder.
- Attach the sterile teat and cap to the bottle, and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to dissolve all the powder. 6 By holding the bottle under cold running water, cool the contents to drinking temperature (about 37°C).
